First Time Buying a Diamond?

Set Your Budget

Start with current active inventory instead of static comparison copy. Set a firm ceiling, then compare minimum, average, and maximum live prices for the size and grade range you actually want.

Select Color Grade

D is the top colorless grade and usually carries a premium. Many first buyers compare G-H near-colorless stones because they can face up white in many settings while leaving more budget for cut or size.

Pick Clarity

"Eye-clean" is the goal: no visible inclusions in normal viewing. VS1 and many VS2 diamonds are strong candidates, while SI1 needs media and report review.
